First published as A Pilgrim's Guide to Camino de Santiago in 2003 these popular guides are regularly updated.
Walked by millions over the millennia the Camino de Santiago represents a major force for spiritual renewal and transformation. In the spaciousness of the Landscape Temple we walk through we become open and receptive to the wisdom that is in us and around us. When we step beyond the habitual judgments and expectations that confine us, we become ready to expand, to change and to grow. With an appreciation for what the path shows us, the growing becomes joyful adventure.
There are thousands of long distance pathways we can walk but only the Camino has achieved world recognition for its historical and spiritual significance and, inevitably, such accolades bring greater numbers wishing to experience its healing potential. Although numbers have increased tenfold during the past ten years, this is still less than half the estimated pilgrims that walked the Camino each year during the medieval period. Perhaps now is your time?

Great service
The guide book was good, but I left it somewhere on day of my camino!

Camino
Thanks so much!

Excellent service
The book arrived pretty quick considering I live in Australia. Top service. Merci

Camino
Perfect. Received it in under two weeks from Spain yo Grand Island NY. Great condition and just what I needed. Good response to asking a question on delivery also.

Camino Frances - from SJDP to Santiago
So far good -like the detail regarding arch town and the suggested stop points. Hoping the albergues notes are still there when I walk as I’m hoping to find accommodation on the way and not plan each night beforehand.

Wonderful service
The book is just what I wanted, the credenciel an unexpected bonus. But Ivar’s helpfulness when Canada Post lost my package was perfect. I would order from the store again with complete confidence.

Don't leave home without it
I like the attention to the spiritual aspect of the Camino, especially the questions for introspection. Thank you.

So far so good! I like having a real book in my hands as I reminisce on past caminos, and also wanted an update as I start thinking on my next camino. I use the Brierly book alongside other sources including online ones. They are all part of keeping the dream alive while looking for the next opportunity!

Support Ivar!!
Easy to purchase from. It’s good to support Ivar, a bit longer in transit but no problem for me. Plus I received a free credential.

Excellent guide
All good. Thanks.

Can't beat the classic
This guide has been invaluable for planning my first Camino. I'm interested in historical and cultural sights, alternative paths, and avoiding crowds of other pilgrims. I do plan to supplement with an app, but for overall planning my stops, this guide has been great, and I do plan to carry it... worth the weight.

Wonderful experience (once again, for 2023)
I'll fill you in when we walk :)

2023 edition
I love the book! It answers all the questions I have, and helps me to prepare myself spiritually, physically, and mentally for my pilgrimage. So looking forward to getting a chance for this experience.

Best Guide Book
Gave two friends the guide for Christmas to help them plan for a 2023 walk. Brierley’s guide is the gold standard of Camino guide books.

Preparing for first Camino
The book is very informative; the maps are very helpful. I plan to take it with me when I walk the Camino francés this year.

It’s not the first time I am using this guide, I just needed an updated version. I cannot praise it enough. Everything you need it’s there, and then more.
