This guidebook features all the information needed to complete the 7 stages from O Cebreiro to Santiago via Sarria, including maps and contour guides (stage by stage), town plans, alternate routes, accommodation, history, mythology and so much more...
This guidebook also seeks to find a balance between the outer and inner journey, between the physical and spiritual, which is why it is subtitled A Practical & Mystical Manual – that we might find a place to eat and sleep at the end of a hard day’s walk but also, and crucially, that we might find the courage to dive into the mystery of our own soul awakening.

This guidebook is the perfect size and explains the route with easy and precise directions. And there are beautiful pictures with excellent maps. A must for anyone who is walking this stage of the Camino! It has been very helpful!

I have the full Camino books, but after deciding to start in Sarria I knew the full books were too much to carry. I found this at Ivar’s shop and hoped it would work. I’m delighted! Will carry on my Camino in September.

We will walk this final stage again in September 2022 - first walk was May 2019. This book is a very good size for transporting and has a lot of interesting details about places to stay as we would like to experience different stopovers this time around. Very good for working out distances per day as we also plan to continue to Finisterre via Muxia. We may be asking too much of ourselves as we are in late 70s and early 80s but so willing to have a go, mainly for the spiritual experience when you travel with so little and are removed from the outside world.
