This product has been created for those interested in paying for their Luggage Storage Service in Santiago using PayPal or a credit card. You can also pay in cash when you pick up your parcel, but I thought I would also give you the option to use a credit cards as well.
I can drop off your luggage at your Hotel/Pension/Albergue for a €5,- fee. I will confirm your reservation and leave it with the receptionist. This way, when you check in you have clean clothes right away. This is also useful if you arrive on the weekend when I have limited opening hours. This is only valid if you are staying in old town Santiago. If you are not sure, e-mail me at: ivar.rekve at gmail.com
Hopefully the name of the person making the payment is the same as the name on your parcel, so I can match the two.

I packed way to much. I knew it once I started walking, but it was my first Camino and I thought I needed everything I had packed. When I got to Pamplona I knew I needed to reduce the weight. I also knew I wanted to keep my stuff and not just donate it along the way and Ivar's service was the answer. I was able to send a box ahead to Santiago. It gave me peace of mind. I didn't have to worry anymore and could concentrate on walking. I sent him an email letting him know my dilemma and he gave me specific instructions on how to send ahead and he also let me know when the box arrived in Santiago. Once I got there, I took advantage of his service to deliver to my hotel which was within the Old Town. Ivar, keep providing this option for Pilgrims. Your rates are very reasonable and I am very appreciative that you helped me in my hour of need. The Camino really does provide in the form of Angels who are there when you need help and Ivar's service is one of those Angels.

What a wonderful service, they accepted my luggage from Pamplona via Correos and kept is safe for 5 weeks while I walked and then stored my pack while I visited Porto, Ivar even delivered it to my hotel, for a modest fee, when I returned so that I could keep my bus connections simple

Ivar was our saviour. We had used his excellent luggage storage facility, sending excess luggage from Lisbon to Santiago. Corespondence was very good. Retrived our parcel at Ivars collection point in Santiago. What made Ivar so valuable was helping us with a parcel we sent home to Australia. We posted it and finally found out our parcel had been rerurned to Santiago Post Office. He organised our parcel be retrived from Post Office and sent it to us in Australia. The parcel contained our most valuable pocessions. My wifes diary of our Camino and our Credientals. It is such a wonderful feeling to know there is help all along the Camino. Ask and it will be given.

So helpful to be able to store bags. We did three options. 1. Bag sent via correros in Ponferrada to Ivar 2. Bag sent from France to Ivar 3. Left luggage in Santiago while we were traveling 4. Bags sent back to Saint Jean from Santiago by Ivar. So helpful and efficient. Definitely recommend if you are stuck with excess luggage to your needs while walking the Camino

If you need to send luggage to Santiago, Casa Ivar is definitely the way to go. I emailed Ivar before arranging to have my luggage sent and he notified me when it arrived. My husband and I were walking the Via de la Plata. Illness or injury can easily necessitate a change of plan on such a long walk. I felt secure knowing that I could contact Ivar and arrange for my luggage to be shipped anywhere in Spain. For a small fee, Ivar himself walked our luggage to our hotel in Santiago on the day of our arrival and checked on my reservation. I can't recommend the service highly enough.

We had miscommunication at the end when I arrived and I was unable to collect my items that I had sent ahead (A few things I did not want to carry for entire Camino), but Ivar was great and helpful in sending them back to me once I was home. I will use this service again if I need it on my next Camino!
