The Altus Poncho purchased through the Camino Forum Store arrived quicker than expected (to California) and the poncho is better than expected. Lots of thought went into the design and construction and I look forward to taking it on my next camino.
Fits over the backpack and you can use it if you are not using one as well!
The great stuffing poncho easily deployed when it starts to actually rain. I can’t speak to the other reviewers about wt packs, other than I also used a pack liner as well as a backpack rain cover.
The Velcro attachments in the front are super easy to use and provide shelter for looking at maps and phones..
I’m buying another one for my wife today.
Both times I used this product my whole bag and self got wet through. Sorry. Not fit for purpose.
