Ari Joaquín Torres reveals in Camino de Santiago: 40 Contemplations As You Walk a path founded in the experience of the human body and the nature that we all live in. These contemplations may strengthen and enrich your life while you walk through the different stages of it.
Camino de Santiago: 40 Contemplations As You Walk has been written with the same dedication with which Torres walked the Camino de Santiago. This book has emerged distilled from experience as an indispensable tool for when we need the experience of walking. What is better than to walk towards a better version of ourselves? A version of ourselves, perhaps unknown but still latent within.
About the author
Ari Joaquín Torres was born in 1976 in Morón de la Frontera, a small town in the south of Spain. He travels and experiences humanity in its different cultural forms. Then he writes to share in ways that every reader can have his/her personal experience. He has been an active artist for the past 30 years and started to dedicate himself to paint with words when he moved to New York City in 2011.
He walked over 600 miles in 40 days during a pilgrimage following the Camino de Santiago, Saint James's Trail, the old Celtic Path of the Stars in 2005. A walk that started on the French side of the Pyrenees, in Saint Jean Pied de Port, and ended at the Atlantic ocean, Cape of Finisterre.
After walking the Camino he put himself through University and got a bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communications. Simultaneously, he worked and attended workshops in Art-therapy and trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy for 4 years. Soon after, his path continued to the city of New York where he has been writing, painting and learning anatomy from the inside out. This book is an offering to all people that need the experience of walking and to the Camino of Santiago.
He has other titles coming up during this year: Fire Fairies; The Three Keys of Reiki and How to Cook without Sweets.
