Original Bronze Way Marker (Castilla and Leon)
Original Bronze Way Marker (Castilla and Leon)
Camino de Santiago Way Marker used to guide you to Santiago de Compostela in Castilla and Leon. This is used in urban areas (you may have seen them in the ground) where you are not allowed to paint yellow arrows. This one is used only in Castilla and Leon.
The company that makes these is the same company that also supplies the Junta of Castilla and Leon with markers, so this is the real deal.
Each marker is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Comes in a nice protective wooden box with a drawing of the Cathedral in Santiago on it.
As you can see from the photos, it is flat on the backside and can be used as an ornament inside or outside in your garden/driveway to signal the way to Santiago.
The width is about 14cm wide and 15cm tall.

Great quality item, and with the discount it was cheaper than if I had bought one in Santiago after my Camino a couple of weeks earlier. I hadn't as I had no space left in my bag - so I am very delighted with this purchase. Good customer service and fast and secure despatch. 100% happy. Thank you.
This was a birthday gift for a friend who has completed a number of pilgrimages. They look beautiful, come in a nice wooden box and were delivered to us the UK in about 36 hours. The Castille and Leon marker is noticeably heavier than the Galician if that is of interest.
Simply gorgeous. This marker style was a welcome, urban nav aid guiding travel out of Le Puy en Velay, enroute to Conques (GR65). Shiny, durable, high quality. Well cast. Well designed. The international DHL shipping vendor was exceptional. Packaging soft, cushy, functional. Don’t hesitate to buy yours NOW. Brings back great memories of slow motion travel agony and ecstasy. My hiking partner succumbed to the emperor of all maladies, cancer, soon after our trek. My Galicia style clam shell will mark a camperdown elm planted in honor of Andrea, the love of my life. So sad she's gone to the cosmos. So glad suffering is over. Warning: protect your investment-secure it well to an immovable object (affixed to concrete pad) OR place it in a private, secure place (backyard memorial). Enough. Simply gorgeous.
The bronze concha is so lovely and helps to keep the memories of my Camino alive.
