Camino de Santiago Way Marker used to guide you to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. This is used in urban areas (you may have seen them in the ground) where you are not allowed to paint yellow arrows. This round one is used only in Galicia.
The company that makes these is the same company that also supplies the Xunta de Galicia with markers, so this is the real deal.
Each marker is numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
It is made on bronze and weight about 350 grams. As you can see from the photos, it is flat on the backside and can be used as an ornament inside or outside in your garden/driveway to signal the way to Santiago.
The markers along the Way became such a special part of my Camino experience. I was so excited to learn they were available. The shipping was so quick! This is a most special keepsake from the Way.

Simply gorgeous. This marker style was a welcome, urban nav aid guiding travel out of Le Puy en Velay, enroute to Conques (GR65). Shiny, durable, high quality. Well cast. Well designed. The international DHL shipping vendor was exceptional. Packaging soft, cushy, functional. Don’t hesitate to buy yours NOW. Brings back great memories of slow motion travel agony and ecstasy. My hiking partner succumbed to the emperor of all maladies, cancer, soon after our trek. My Galicia style clam shell will mark a camperdown elm planted in honor of Andrea, the love of my life. So sad she's gone to the cosmos. So glad suffering is over. grateful memories
I remain deeply grateful for my contemplative experience of walking the CF from late April to early June 2022. The Original Bronze Way marker is going to be permanently placed in concrete at the gate entrance to my small home in the city of Columbus, Ohio. It is very authentic and well-made and will be a reminder every time I come and go from my home that the Camino remains an encouragement in a life-long journey.
