No, it is not legal tender. You get it if you are a collector or if you just want a souvenir from your camino walk.
How different is if from a regular euro note?
The quality of this is pretty amazing. It is printed on the same paper as the euro notes and has similar security features. If I did not see the "0 euro" on it, I would think it was a normal euro note.
There are many versions of the 0 Euro note, this one has ben made with the Camino de Santiago in mind.
The idea behind the 0 euro note got started in 2015. The souvenir Euro notes made to the same standards as the currency, but without value. These can then be sold at a profit to commemorate places or events. Since then these have become increasingly popular, and the European Central Bank has approved their printing,

Simply gorgeous. This marker style was a welcome, urban nav aid guiding travel out of Le Puy en Velay, enroute to Conques (GR65). Shiny, durable, high quality. Well cast. Well designed. My hiking partner succumbed to the emperor of all maladies, cancer, soon after our trek. My Galicia style clam shell will mark a camperdown elm planted in honor of Andrea, the love of my life. So sad she's gone to the cosmos. So glad suffering is over. grateful memories
I remain deeply grateful for my contemplative experience of walking the CF from late April to early June 2022. The Original Bronze Way marker is going to be permanently placed in concrete at the gate entrance to my small home in the city of Columbus, Ohio. It is very authentic and well-made and will be a reminder every time I come and go from my home that the Camino remains an encouragement in a life-long journey.

A Must Have for the Camino!
I ordered 2 Altus Ponchos. My husband and I were leaving on our spring Camino Frances and I knew that we would get some rain. Little did we know that we would also get snow! It was a great rain buffer, and it is also a thermal layer, as we learned when we hiked up O Cebreiro in the snow! This is something that you shouldn't leave home without!! We highly recommend it!
