I recently went "old school" and purchased the 1:1.250.00 Camino de Santiago Map which provides an excellent topographical view of Spain and it's major Camino routes. I recently completed the Camino Francés relying on various phone apps which worked really well, but only provided visual representations of small sections of the Camino as I progressed along its path. This paper map has been great to not only get a good ‘whole of Camino’ view of the path I travelled, but is also really great as a ‘whole of Spain' visual aid for planning my next Camino. Thoroughly recommend it.
I love my shell. Can’t wait to hit the Camino Primitivo this Sunday. I’m 67. Can I do it? (We shall see)
The shell is so nice, the caminofeeling at home.....thx Ivar.....buen camino.....greetzzzzz michelle.......
I am walking Camino del Norte this Summer ( Bayonne to Oviedo where I continue withCamino Primitivo to Santiago de Compostela. After that bus to Porto where my daughter join us to walk Camino Português coastal way. So that map is excellent tool for me to see all connected routes so that I can plan my 55 days Camino 🙏
I found Casa Ivar to have a great range of merchandise related to the Camino experience. The website itself, was both easy to navigate and to purchase items from. My order was dispatched and arrived here in Australia very promptly. The badge was good quality and is now sewn on the back of my backpack. If you’re on the Camino Francis late March and/or April 2025, you may see both me and the badge along the way. I think Casa Ivar is certainly well worth a visit either online, or in person if you’re in Santiago de Compostela. I know I will when I get there.
